Inspired by 'The road to Hampton Court' by Alfred Sissley, the composition has been adapted to include the Millenium Bridge and the iconic Terry's Clocktower in the York skyline beyond.
 
This oil painting is from a  series of artworks that are  influenced by the 1884 Impressionists of Paris. and are, therefore, regarded as 'Study Pieces' as they allow me to consider many of the technical aspects used by these great Masters first-hand.
